The other discussable topic... wait no... its not discussable... I'm just letting you know... We will once again not be open on Mondays and its going to be GREAT! We have so much to get done on Mondays between the garden, general maintenance, projects... oh, the projects!! In turn... we will be refreshed every week to better serve you! Oh... we will also open a little earlier on Saturday and Sundays. Give and take, yo. Give and take.

Big News... earth shaking... maybe.

Well folks, The time has come. I've gotten my last frustrated text, saddened facebook post, Tuesday morning rant... I can stand it no more.

STARTING MONDAY, FEBRUARY 7... PARADIGM will be open from 7am to 2pm on MONDAYS. No other hours will change. None. Nadddda one.

I had better see each and every one of you here... you know who you are.

Oh and hey... Don't forget that we close up at 10pm when there's nothing going on!

What's new, you asked?

That's right... a new menu with new stuff as well as the old favorites. I'd like to point you all in the direction of adding pesto, tomato and onion to your Classic. Its easy, its brilliant.

The Third Annual Local Yokel Yuletide Craft Swap was a success! The weather cooperated! The variety was terrific and boy did we score some good things. From sweet pottery and hand-bound books by Night Owl Craft Works to spark plugs that can do just about everything by Spark Plug Guy our little craft swap is growing up!

Be sure to keep an eye on the column to the right... that's where you'll find the calender of events... BUT... SOON... I SWEAR... We will be moving all info and ramblings to our website www.paradigmvenue.com... feel free to check out its skeleton.

Things to know for the immediate future.

1. Tony Furtado and Camille Bloom are going to be breaking in our stage Friday, September 17.

2. We will be at the Natural Health Fair all day Saturday. We will be selling coffee, tea, cinnamon rolls and wraps... with Vegpod. woot. Come visit us and check out what this fine group of folks have put together for us!

3. Lizzy Pitch is making her Paradigm debut on Saturday night... at 8pm... be there or be square.

4. This Sunday is our monthly OPEN MIC from 6pm to 9pm.

Laughter, Love, Magic, Music! The Velvet Curtain is proud to present, at Paradigm Coffee and Music, Cabaret Entrangete! A musical farce inspired by Commedia Dell' Arte, Shakespeare, and Vaudeville Burlesque.

The drama filled lives of a troupe of turn of the century performers unravel, in this fast past extravaganza, inciting reckless schemes with comic results. Cabaret Éntrangeté is a charismatic musical revue, including popular selections from the early 1900s through the 1920s, amid mistaken identities, quarreling lovers, and seductive dances.

Conceived and written by local actors Hannah Benton and Jonathan Porter, Cabaret Éntrangeté is an unconventional love story, a slapstick comedy, and a high energy foray into the world of traditional farce.

Featuring, Jill Brotz, Hannah Cook, Mariya Grabow, Chris Fontaine, Tegan Hermann, Eileen Kelm, Robert Pamenter, Maria Medina, Katie Schmidt, Timmy Wiverstad, and muscians David Hein and Erik Neave.

I've been slacking on the blog front, I know. Lets consider this my April resolution. Blog.

A lot of events and shows are in the works and I should really tell you about them.

Friday, April 9- We will be hosting a great night of music: Louis and The Hunt is back and Zoo Animal will be making its debut Paradigm show as well.



Oh wow... I totally got off track and distracted with youtube... sorry... Ani Live at Babeville... I couldn't help my self.

"THE QUEEN OF BINGO" Saturday, April 10 at 6pm and 9pm and Sunday, April 11 at 6pm - Tickets are $15.

This is a two person play put on by Spotlight Theater... and our second go at live theater in this space... some of you may remember the last time... well... it won't be like that at all. This one is a comedy. Not a hostage situation. haha. right.

How will this work? Well, these will be closed shows... so technically, Paradigm is closing at 5:30 both Saturday and Sunday nights. Weird, I know... but come to the show! A change of pace is good for everyone!!

Chelsea Z Show

Chelsea Z's show tonight will happen at Kathy & Craig's house, 1427 N. 4th St, as part of Amy's welcome home celebration. 7pm

Garnet Rogers

Canadian folk singer Garnet Rogers will be playing live this Thursday, September 17 at 8pm, $10 cover.

New Location

After 3 years at 1022 Michigan Ave, Paradigm Coffee & Music is moving to 1202 N. 8th St (the old Bike & Ski building). Our last day in our current location will be Sunday, September 27. The new location will be open in early October.

Songwriter Showcase - One Night Only!

Brianna Lane, Brad Hoshaw, Erik Neave, Jeremiah Nelson, and Brooks West are spending the week at the Cabin on the Lake and are coming in for a midweek show! Starts at 8pm.

M.I.K.E. Concert Tonight!

The John Michael Kohler Arts Center in partnership with Paradigm Coffee and Music presents a Free Concert on M.I.K.E. (Music Integrated Kiosk Environment) at the Arts Center featuring:

6:00 p.m. Sheboygan singer/songwriter Erik Neave
7:00 p.m. Milwaukee accordion player Pezzettino
8:00 p.m. Minneapolis folk singer/songwriter Chris Koza

Rain plan: inside the Arts Center.

Beer, wine, soda, and refreshments will be available for purchase.

Earthfest Weekend

SHOP WILL BE CLOSED FROM 6PM ON FRIDAY, AUG 14 UNTIL 9AM ON SUNDAY, AUG16.

FRIDAY: We will close at 6pm, Friday, August 14 for The Big Sheboygan Shebang at the Stephanie H. Weill Center. Show starts at 7:30pm and features Paradigm's very own Hannah Benton. Tickets are $12 ($10 members).

SATURDAY: The shop will be closed all day, but come visit our booth at Earthfest at Fountain Square! The all ages festival runs from 10am-10pm and is free admission.

SUNDAY: We resume regular hours, 9am-11pm, and we are having a French Toast Extravaganza! Our french toast is made from City Bakery ciabatta bread and we use real maple syrup from House of Sweetness.

Here's a bit of info on the coming activities... mostly relating in some form to Paradigm.

One. Its the last Friday of the month... we know what that means!!! 5:30pm Meet-up at the Library for what some might call a "Critical Mass" bicycle ride. Maybe... one day.

Two. The music this weekend is Lillie Lemon, Saturday @ 8pm

Three. Its early summer and there has been a hatch of new music to hit our shelf. Here's a list of great albums that we sell right here at Paradigm.

FOUR. Join us for the 4th of July Parade!! Bicycle Revolutionaries has commandeered the tail end of the parade again!! Meet up at 7th and Center around 8:30am. Our goal is to promote bicycle awareness... the more the merrier!! All pedal powered vehicles are welcomed!!
